Installation Requirements

WARNING

Rider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00308b)

NOTE

REMOVE

See Figure 2. Remove radiator screws (B).

INSTALL

See Figure 3. Install radiator guard (1) on to radiator.

a. Verify that the radiator is positioned as low as possible.

b. Slightly bend the lower part of the guard, push over the rubber grommets at the bottom of the radiator.

c. Position guard approximately in the middle of the large diameter portion of the radiator grommet at the bottom of the radiator.
