Installation Requirements
This kit requires the installation of P&A Exhaust Kit (64900828 or 64900829).
WARNINGRider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. Use the appropriate service manual procedures. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00333b)

INSTALL
| 1. | See Figure 1. Install brake pedal assembly. a. Install brake pedal assembly (2) to footpeg mounting bracket (1) with washer (15) and screw (16). Tighten. Torque: 13.6–19 N·m (10–14 ft-lbs) b. Install brake pedal crank assembly (12) to brake pedal bracket sub-assembly (10) with washer (13), screw (5), washer (9) and nut (8). c. Install brake pedal pushrod (3) to pedal assembly (2) and brake pedal crank assembly (12) with two screws (4). Tighten. Torque: 20.3–24.4 N·m (15–18 ft-lbs) | |
| 2. | See Figure 1. Install master cylinder to master cylinder bracket sub-assembly (10) with Original Equipment (OE) screws and washers removed earlier. Tighten. Torque: 24.4–30 N·m (18–22 ft-lbs) | |

Insert long leg of torsion spring (2) into hole in foot support bracket (6). c. Rotate footpeg into position and install clevis pin (1). d. Install E-clip (5). Special Tool: E-CLIP TOOL (HD-52369) NOTE When installing E-clip, use E-clip tool to help prevent damage to painted surfaces. |
