WARNINGRider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. Use the appropriate service manual procedures. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00333b)

PREPARE
| 1. | Disconnect negative battery cable. See service manual. |
REMOVE
| 1. | Remove Original Equipment (OE) camshaft support plate and discard. See service manual. a. Keep short screws. b. Discard long screws. | |
| 2. | See Figure 2. Remove OE oil pump assembly and discard. See service manual. a. Discard scavenge port O-ring (5). b. Discard oil seal (6). |
INSTALL
Oil Pump
| 1. | Lubricate all parts with assembly lube during assembly.SCREAMIN' EAGLE ASSEMBLY LUBE (11300002) | |
| 2. | See Figure 2. Install back housing (4) and scavenge gerotor set (3) onto crankshaft. | |
| 3. | Install new O-ring (5) in crankcase scavenge port. | |
| 4. | Apply assembly lube to scavenge port spigot.SCREAMIN' EAGLE ASSEMBLY LUBE (11300002) | |
| 5. | Slide oil pump housing (2) onto crankshaft while fitting scavenge port into O-ring (5). a. Firmly push on oil pump housing to fully seat. | |
| 6. | Install feed gerotor set (1). |

Camshaft Support Plate

Verify camshaft support plate (5) is fully seated. NOTE Long screws (2) are used for oil pump housing. f. Start all screws (1, 2). | |
| 3. | See Figure 4. Tighten screws in sequence. a. Tighten screws (1, 2). Torque: 1.4–6.8 N·m (12–60 in-lbs) 1st torque b. Rotate crankshaft one full revolution (360 degrees). c. Tighten screws (3-8) in sequence shown. Torque: 10.2–13.6 N·m (90–120 in-lbs) 2nd torque d. Final tighten four oil pump screws (1-2, 9-10) in same sequence.
