Installation Requirements
LOCTITE SILVER GRADE ANTI-SEIZE (11100001) is required for this installation.
WARNINGRider and passenger safety depend upon the correct installation of this kit. Use the appropriate service manual procedures. If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. Improper installation of this kit could result in death or serious injury. (00333b)

PREPARE

| 2. | Disconnect jiffy stand sensor, if equipped. See service manual. |
REMOVE
| 1. | Remove jiffy stand. See service manual. |
INSTALL
| 1. | See Figure 2. Install bushing (8) on bracket (1). | |
| 2. | Install jiffy stand (5). | |
| 3. | Install bushing (2). | |
| 4. | Apply anti-seize lubricant to pivot pin (7).LOCTITE SILVER GRADE ANTI-SEIZE (11100001) | |
| 5. | Install pivot pin (7). | |
| 6. | Install nut (3). Tighten. Torque: 10.3–11.4 N·m (91–101 in-lbs) | |
| 7. | Apply anti-seize lubricant to spring hook groove on jiffy stand bracket.LOCTITE SILVER GRADE ANTI-SEIZE (11100001) NOTE Spring hooks must face rear of motorcycle when jiffy stand is in down position. | |
