If the procedure is not within your capabilities or you do not have the correct tools, have a Harley-Davidson dealer perform the installation. INSTALL
| 1. | See Figure 3. Install shifter link (2) to foot shifter (1) install screw (3). Tighten. Torque: 10–12.5 N·m (89–111 in-lbs) | |
| 2. | See Figure 2. Install shifter linkage. a. Install new shifter linkage (2). b. Install screw (3). Tighten. Torque: 10–12 N·m (89–106 in-lbs) c. Install washer (4) and screw (2). Tighten. Torque: 24.5–30 N·m (18–22 ft-lbs) |
