NOTE

The performance of new motorcycle initial service is required to keep your new motorcycle warranty in force and for proper emissions system operation.

Refer to Maintenance Scheduling → Regular Service Intervals → Regular Service Intervals: 2012 FLSTSE3. After a new motorcycle has been ridden its first 1000 miles (1600 kilometers), it should be taken to an authorized Harley-Davidson dealer for initial service operations.

NOTE

Because of unique design features, Springer models require the first scheduled maintenance at 500 miles (800 kilometers).
