The performance of new motorcycle initial service is required to keep your new motorcycle warranty in force and to assure proper emissions system operation.

Refer to Maintenance Scheduling → Regular Service Intervals → Regular Service Intervals: 2006 Dyna Models. After a new motorcycle has been ridden its first 1000 miles (1600 kilometers), it should be taken to the dealer from whom it was purchased for initial service operations.
