This vehicle is equipped with an emergency cut loop located inside the top cover under the vehicle inlet/charge port in a section of the low voltage harness. Cutting the loop shuts down and disables the high voltage system outside of the high voltage battery.

If the right hand switch module is damaged or not accessible, deactivate the high-voltage system using the cut loop.

1.	See Figure 1. Remove either side of the top cover by pulling up on the side and breaking the mounting tabs.
	WARNING When cutting the harness avoid contacting cutting tool to any surrounding metal parts. Contact can cause electrical arcing which could ignite any present flammable vapors, which could result in death or serious injury. (09933a)
2.	See Figure 2 and Figure 3. Locate the cut point indicated by the yellow cut label. Make two cuts in the harness and remove a section of the harness to avoid possible reconnection.
