Displays Home screen. Toggle between Home screen and active media.
Available selections: Audio, Navigation, Phone, Setup, Communications, Favorites.
2 [Audio]
Displays active source with audible content information.
Available selections: FM, AM, WB (weather band).
Optional selections: When connected: iPod, USB Media, Bluetooth Audio. If equipped: SiriusXM.
3 [Navigation]
Displays map with current position.
Available selections: Search, Menu, Stop Route, Highway Services (shows only on highways), Data Wing (right and left), Zoom (in and out).
Informational display: Current Street, Compass, Next Maneuver, Distance to Next Maneuver, Next Street, Repeat.
4 [Phone]
Displays menus for staying connected.
Available selections: Calls, Contacts, Messages, Keypad, SOS.
5 [Info]
Displays vehicle status.
Available selections: Info, Engine/Fuel Info, Ride Summary, TPMS (CVO only).
6 [Mute/Power]
Toggles power on and off (hold for three seconds).
Silence or pause audio.
7 [Setup]
Configure system settings. Do before riding the motorcycle.
Available selections: Audio Settings, Display, Global Presets, Keyboard, Bluetooth setup, Wireless Headset, Units, Clock, Rear Controls, System Information, Language, Projection Mode.
8 [Communication]
Displays enabled communication devices.
Available selections: Intercom (when enabled), Citizen Band (CB, if equipped).
9 [Favorites]
Displays saved favorites.
Available selections: Tuner, Media, Phone, Destination.
10 [Audio Setup]
Displays audio setting screen.
Available selections: Bass, Treble, Audio Routing, Fade, Volumes.

BASIC OPERATION
Turning System ON/OFF
NOTE
To mute or unmute audio, briefly press Power/ Mute (1).
1. Switch power to Accessory, Ignition or Run (CVO).
2. See Figure 5. To power ON radio, press Power/Mute (1).

4. To power OFF radio, press and hold Power/Mute (1) button for 3 seconds.
RADIO
Select Source
1. Navigate: Home > Audio.
2. See Figure 7. Select: Source field.
a. Tuner: AM - FM - WB (selections vary for European Union).
b. Media: USB (when connected), phone (Bluetooth), SiriusXM (if equipped).

SETUP
NOTE
The Audio Settings button on the radio's faceplate can be as a shortcut to make the same adjustments.
Audio Settings
1. Navigate: Home > Setup > Audio Settings.
2. Adjust: Bass or Treble.
Select Speakers or Headsets (if equipped with headset)
1. Navigate: Home > Setup > Audio Settings > Audio Routing.

Speaker Volumes
1. Navigate: Home > Setup > Audio Settings > Speaker Volumes.
2. Adjust: Media/Tuner, Prompt Nav, Phone, CB, Beep.
BLUETOOTH
Pair Phone or Other Device
1. Activate Bluetooth on your device.
2. Navigate: Home > Phone.
3. Prompt: No device connected. Would you like to connect a device?
a. Select: Yes.
4. Select: Add new device.
5. Prompt: Does PIN match on device?
a. Check PINs (auto-generated) on audio system and device.
b. Select: Yes (if numbers match).
6. Prompt: Would you like to set an Emergency number?
a. Select: Yes or No.
Streaming Audio
NOTE
The device must first be paired with the Boom! Audio system before it can be used. See Audio → Bluetooth. Device must also support Bluetooth audio streaming profile.
1. Navigate: Home > Audio.
2. See Figure 7. Select: Source field.
3. Select: Phone (Bluetooth).
PHONE
Making a Call
NOTE
  • The phone must first be paired with the audio system before it can be used through the Boom! Box infotainment system. See Audio → Bluetooth.
  • A Harley-Davidson headset with microphone is required to make and receive calls via Bluetooth.
1. Navigate: Home > Phone.
2. See Figure 10. Select: Icon from phone menu.

Receiving a Call
Select: Accept or Ignore.
VOICE RECOGNITION
NOTE
A teleprompter is shown when the Voice Recognition switch is pressed. The teleprompter screen shows commonly used commands, along with a line item to display more commands.

2. When the system beeps, speak a voice command calmly and normally into the headset microphone.
