Installation
  1. See Figure 1. Stand behind the motorcycle and place the left and right front sideplate notches into the grooves of the front docking points.
    2. NOTE
    Failure to align the front docking points and upright sideplates can damage to the rear docking points or cosmetic finishes.
  2. Position rotary latches over the rear docking points. Pull the rotary latches back to their rearmost position. Verify the upright notches and latches fit into the groove of the rear docking point.
  3. See Figure 2. Push the rear of the upright sideplates down. Push the latch levers forward to close the rotary latches. A click is heard when the latches are in place. If the latches do not easily close, do not force. Check the upright alignment again.
Removal
  1. Press the release button on each side. Push the latch levers forward.
  2. Carefully lift the rear of the sideplates up. Pull the front sideplate notches out of the front docking points.
