The keyboard is used for entering data into the radio when needed. The keyboard is operated by using the CURSOR/SELECT hand control switch to select letters.

Input is displayed in the title bar. Select the buttons for numbers, symbols or extended characters to display keypads with additional characters as needed. When finished with a keyboard entry, select OK.

See Figure 1. When input is required, the screen displays a full keyboard with alphabetically arranged characters A-Z.
