The fade setting adjusts the balance of volume between the front and rear speakers. By default, the fade is set at the center with an equal balance of volume. Some vehicles have a fade adjuster as shown in Figure 1.
The fade setting does not affect headset or microphone audio levels. Fade does not apply to models without rear speakers.
  1. Select Home > Setup > Audio Setup.
  2. Select Fade/Speed Volume.
  3. Adjust the front to rear fade.
  4. Press the R (rear) or F (front) controls to adjust the balance of the speaker volume between the front and rear speakers. The center circle indicates an equal balance of volume to both front and rear speakers.
