See Operation → Starting the Engine → Right Handlebar Controls. With the radio powered on, press the MODE SEL switch on the right handlebar control repeatedly until iPod is highlighted as shown in Figure 1.

After the MODE SEL switch is pressed, you may also use the appropriate number soft key to select iPod on the screen.
