See Figure 1. Some models have a side-mounted license plate assembly. The license plate must be in the extended position during operation. This feature may not be available in all markets.

The side-mounted license plate assembly includes an LED lamp module. If the LED lamp fails, see a Harley-Davidson dealer for assembly replacement.
