Front Shock Absorber Adjustment
See
Figure 1. The damping of the front shock absorber can be adjusted according to rider's experience. Rotate clockwise to increase the damping and counterclockwise to decrease the damping. Tighten it to the limit with a flathead screwdriver and then release it by two turns, which is factory default.
Rear Shock Absorber Adjustment
See
Figure 2. The rear shock absorbers are mainly composed of shock-absorbing springs and hydraulic dampers and can be adjusted according to various factors such as rider's preferences, vehicle load, and road conditions. When adjusting, use the jiffy stand to support the vehicle to lift the rear wheel off the ground.
NOTE
Do not exceed the limit of the regulator or shock absorbers may be damaged.
Manually rotate the adjusting nut (2) upward or downward to increase or reduce the damping. This changes the rebounding speed of shock absorbers. The damping force adjusting nut clicks during adjustment. If no sound is heard, the adjusting nut is at its limit and should not be rotated any longer.
In addition, there is a compression adjusting knob (1) on the lower end of the shock absorber. Rotating the adjusting knob clockwise can increase the compression of the spring and stiffen it, while rotating it counterclockwise will reduce the compression. The compression of the shock absorbers has been set to the minimum by default and cannot be further reduced.
