1.	Remove the cover and wash the motorcycle. If it was stored for more than four months, replace the oil.
2.	Charge and install the battery. See Service Procedures → Battery Maintenance.
3.	Inspect spark plugs. See Maintenance and Lubrication → Spark Plugs.
4.	Inspect air filter and replace if necessary. See Maintenance and Lubrication → Inspecting Air Filter.
5.	Inspect drive belt and sprocket. See Maintenance and Lubrication → Check Drive Chain and Sprockets.
6.	Perform the items in the Before Riding → Pre-Ride Checklist.
