Lubrication is a major factor in the performance and service life of the clutch components.

Refer to Maintenance Scheduling → Regular Service Intervals → Regular Service Intervals: 2015 Softail Models. The primary chaincase should be drained and refilled with fresh lubricant at proper intervals.

NOTE

Use only FORMULA+ TRANSMISSION AND PRIMARY CHAINCASE LUBRICANT (Part No. 99851-05 qt) when changing primary chaincase lubricant.
