The rear shock absorber springs can be adjusted to five positions to compensate for various loads.
- For heavy loads, the springs should be compressed.
- For lighter loads the springs should be extended.
See Figure 1. To adjust the rear shock absorber, turn spring adjusting cam to desired position with a SPANNER WRENCH (Part Number:HD-94700-52C). Both spring adjusting cams must be adjusted to the same position. When returning to off-cam position, cams should be backed off in opposite direction.
