See Controls and Indicators → Primary Controls → Controls and Service Components. The throttle control grip is on the right handlebar and is operated with the right hand.
Accelerate: Slowly turn throttle control grip counterclockwise (toward rear) to open the throttle.
NOTE
The roll-off position is past the closed (idle) position. Turning to the roll-off position disengages cruise control and enables/disables EITMS.
Decelerate: Slowly turn the throttle control grip clockwise (toward front) to close the throttle.
