The power lock fob must be programmed before using the fob with the vehicle.
NOTE
Verify that both saddlebags and the Tour-Pak power locks are functioning correctly when using the saddlebag/Tour-Pak lock switch.
Leave the Tour-Pak lid open during programming to see the Tour-Pak power lock hook move during lock and unlock events.
Entering Program Mode
Push the OFF/RUN switch to RUN.
See Figure 1. Press the UNLOCK switch in the fairing cap panel. Wait 5 seconds.
Press LOCK switch.
Press UNLOCK switch 3 times.
Press LOCK switch 3 times.
Press and hold UNLOCK for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, the actuators cycle the locks to locked then back to unlocked. Release the switch.
Wait 11 more seconds. The actuators will once again cycle to lock then back to unlock. The turn signals flash twice. The receiver enters program mode and remains in program mode for 30 seconds.

Program Mode
NOTE
Pressing lock or unlock switches in the fairing cap panel during program mode will cause program mode to end.
See Figure 2. Press and release the LOCK button on fob number 1 repeatedly until you hear the actuators lock. Verify the fob is programmed by pressing UNLOCK.
After fob number 1 is programmed, wait 5 seconds until the actuators cycle to lock then back to unlock. Now program fob number 2.
Repeat previous steps to program fob number 2.
The receiver will remain in program mode for 30 seconds. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to program any other fobs.
To exit program mode, perform one of the following:
Wait 30 seconds.
Press lock or unlock switch in the fairing cap panel.

Replacing the Battery
See Figure 3. Slowly turn a thin screwdriver blade in the thumbnail slot on the side of the fob to separate the two halves.
Remove the battery and discard.
Install a new battery (CR2032 or equivalent) with the positive (+) side facing up.
Align the two halves of the fob and snap together.
