NOTE

After most accidents there should be no high voltage hazard present. The high voltage system is designed and equipped with safety features that will disable the system in most accident situations.

Disabling the System

1.	On the right hand control module, switch the OFF/RUN switch to the OFF position. See Figure 1.
2.	NOTE Remove FOB a minimum of 4.5 m (15 ft) away from vehicle. If accessible, remove fob from range.

If it is not possible to use this procedure to disable the high voltage system utilize alternate method of cutting the emergency cut loop. Refer toEmergency Response → Cut Loop.
