See Figure 1. The fork lock is on the dash panel. Using the fork lock immediately after parking your motorcycle will discourage unauthorized use or theft. The fork lock can be locked and unlocked with the ignition key.
Locking Fork
| 1. | Turn fork to full left position. | |
| 2. | See Figure 1. Insert key and turn one-quarter turn counterclockwise to lock. Remove key. |
Unlocking Fork
| 1. | See Figure 1. Insert key and turn one-quarter turn clockwise to unlock. Remove key. | |
| 2. | Check steering for proper operation by turning the handlebars through the full operating range. Handlebars should turn smoothly without binding. |
