Using the fork lock immediately after parking your motorcycle will discourage unauthorized use or theft.
NOTE
Do not force the switch into the locked position or switch damage can occur.
See Figure 1. The fork lock is located on top of the steering head, behind the headlamp nacelle and inset in the handlebar clamp shroud.
To Lock Fork
- Turn fork to full left position.
- See Figure 1. Insert key and turn key counterclockwise to LOCK position.
- Remove key.
