NOTE
The volume control affects the output of the amplifier on the vehicle only. It does not change the volume of the playback device.
iPod
Set the desired playback selections (playlist, repeat, shuffle, etc.). Adjust the preferred tone setting and set volume to maximum.
NOTE
If using an iPhone as a playback device, an incoming call will sound through the audio system. However, the call cannot be answered using the audio system. Set the phone to airplane mode to prevent hearing an incoming call if desired.
Connect an iPod or other Apple media device to the digital connector located in the left saddlebag lid.
Turn the ignition switch to IGN or ACC. The Apple media device will be automatically recognized and begin playing.
Use the left audio control to set volume and pause playback. Use right audio control to move forward or back in the playlist.
Standard Media Player
Set the desired playback selections (playlist, repeat, shuffle, etc.). Adjust the preferred tone setting. Set volume to maximum.
Connect device to the analog connector (3.5 mm plug) located in the left saddlebag lid.
Press play on the device.
Turn the ignition switch to IGN or ACC.
NOTE
A standard media player cannot be paused from the vehicle controls. Pressing the either audio switch will mute the output but the device will continue to play.
Use the left audio control to set volume and mute playback. The right audio control will switch between devices if both are connected.
