When disconnecting the battery or removing the main fuse, perform the following steps.
  1. Verify that the fob is present.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to IGNITION.
  3. Pull the main fuse from its holder.
  4. Disconnect the battery if needed.
NOTE
Place the ignition switch in the OFF position before installing the main fuse.
