See personal electronic device info to pair to vehicle.
Some vehicles have a Bluetooth audio system. The system operates while the ignition switch is in the IGNITION or ACCESSORY position.
Pairing a Bluetooth Device
Multiple devices can be paired with the audio system. However, the audio system only maintains an active Bluetooth connection with one device at a time.
The audio system will display as "HD-Audio".
Refer to your Bluetooth-compatible device owners manual to ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
Connecting a Bluetooth Device
Once you have paired your Bluetooth-compatible device it can now be connected for media playback.
The audio system will automatically try to connect with the media device after pairing is complete. For some devices, a setting is required within the device before it will automatically connect. Refer to your Bluetooth-compatible device owners manual to confirm Bluetooth settings.
Reconnecting After Vehicle Turns On
The next time the motorcycle is turned on, the audio system will automatically try to establish a Bluetooth connection with the Bluetooth device from the last vehicle shutdown.
Allow a few moments for the audio system to initialize and the Bluetooth device to connect.
If the audio system will not automatically reconnect with media devices over Bluetooth, refer to Pairing a Bluetooth Device and Connecting a Bluetooth Device in this section.
For additional functions, install Harley-Davidson Audio app on personal device. Additional functions include: 7 band equalizer, update audio system firmware, enable or disable automatic volume control.
