1. | See Figure 1. Press button (2) to extend key (1). | |
2. | Turn fob over. Remove any keys or key rings attached to the loop on the fob case. | |
3. | Separate key fob NOTE Do not twist screwdriver. a. See Figure 2. Insert blade of a 3/16-inch flathead screwdriver in the thumbnail slot (1) b. Push in and up until open. | |
4. | Remove the battery and discard. a. Carefully insert the blade of a 1/8-inch flathead screwdriver under the battery (3) and lift. b. Remove the battery from the battery tray. | |
5. | Install a new battery (CR2032) with the positive side up. | |
6. | Snap the cover and fob body together. a. Align the positioning tabs (2) with the positioning slots (4). b. Snap the fob halves together. c. Make sure the fob cover is seated all the way around the fob body. | |
7. | Test the fob by pressing the unlock button then the lock button and verify the saddlebag locks operate. |
