Kiheung Motors Ltd. provides the following services either free of charge or on a paid basis for motorcycles sold by the Company in accordance with the warranty policy of Harley Davidson Motor Company Inc., as well as with the Consumer Framework Act and the Clean Air Conservation Act.

1. Warranty Coverage

Harley-Davidson will provide repair services either free of charge or on a limited paid basis in accordance with the warranty period and terms specified in the warranty, provided that the customer’s motorcycle was operated and maintained in accordance with the check and maintenance schedule and operating guidelines specified in the Owner’s Manual provided by the Company and that the defect is a result of a component material deficiency or manufacturing process(es).

2. Warranty Period

The warranty period is 24 months from the date of retail sale and delivery, with no warranty limitation applied to total mileage.

If the ownership of the motorcycle is transferred to another individual prior to expiration of the warranty, the remaining warranty period shall be passed on to the individual who takes over ownership.

Warranty period for parts related to fuel exhaust

Warranty period for parts related to fuel exhaust shall be provided as indicated below in accordance with Article 63 of the Clean Air Conservation Act.

(Warranty period is 24 months from the date of retail sale and delivery, however warranty shall expire anytime upon exceeding total mileage of 10,000km within this period)

5. Notes for Owners

- Please use and maintain the motorcycle in accordance with the check and maintenance schedule and operating guidelines specified in the Owner’s Manual.

Please maintain the motorcycle at authorized service centers with genuine Harley-Davidson parts.

6. Warranty Exceptions

- Occurrences excluded from the warranty coverage specified in the Owner’s Manual or those included in other limitations.

- Failures stemming from non-use of genuine Harley-Davidson parts or failure to top up engine oil

- Motorcycle was checked and maintained by general shops other than authorizes Harley-Davidson service center or defects found in motorcycles imported by parallel importers

- Use of defective fuel including fake gasoline and other sensory phenomenon that does not affect the normal functioning performance (noise, vibration)

- Consequential damages, costs or expenses, including transportation costs; shipping costs, storage costs, loss of time, inconvenience, or loss of use of the motorcycle.

- Regular checkup for ensuring full function of the vehicle – cleaning of fuel tank and fuel filter; wheel alignment; adjustment of steering system; brake check (oil and brake pad replacement), ignition plug; spark plug cable; clutch disk; brake pad; fuse; light bulbs; filters, oils; natural discoloration of painting; corrosion from unsatisfactory maintenance

- Odometer failure; mileage cannot be determined due to modification/remodeling

7. Warranty Repair Process

- Visit your authorized Harley-Davidson Service Center with your motorcycle and warranty card during normal business hours and provide them to the person responsible for warranty repairs.

8. Harley-Davidson Motor Company Inc. is not required to apply any design changes to vehicles already sold and delivered to customers as a result of specification changes during manufacturing of the same model.
