Removal
- Remove the two screws to remove the tail lamp lens from its chrome base.
- See Figure 1. Press the tab on the connector (3) and remove the connector from the base.
- Rotate bulb socket (4) a quarter turn counterclockwise. Remove socket, wire harness (2) and bulb (1).
- Pull the bulb out of the socket.
Installation
| 1. | See Figure 1. Apply ELECTRICAL CONTACT LUBRICANT to the contacts of a new bulb (1). Press the new bulb into the wire harness (2) socket (4). | |
| 2. | Insert socket (4) into tail lamp lens. Rotate socket a quarter turn clockwise to lock it in place. | |
| 3. | Snap tail lamp connector (3) into tail lamp base. NOTE Do not over-tighten screws. | |
| 4. | Hold tail lamp in position against chrome base. Install two screws. Tighten to 2.3–2.7 N·m (20–24 in-lbs). | |
