The front wind deflectors improve air flow and reduce turbulence. The deflectors can be removed or installed depending on riding conditions or rider preference.
Removal
  1. See Figure 1. Remove upper clip (2) from fuel tank mount (3).
  2. Remove wind deflector (1) from lower clip (4) on engine guard (5).
  3. Pull out wind deflector through opening between fuel tank and inner fairing.
  4. Repeat on other side.
Installation
NOTE
Install wind deflectors from top between fuel tank and inner fairing.
  1. See Figure 1. Snap wind deflector (1) and lower clip (4) on engine guard (5).
  2. Snap upper clip (2) on fuel tank mount (3).
  3. Repeat on other side.
