NOTE
Never install a used piston assembly or spring.
See Figure 1. Lightly lubricate piston bore and OD of piston seals with DOT 4 BRAKE FLUID.
2. Install new piston assembly.
a. Push and hold new piston assembly (13) into bore.
b. Install new retaining ring (12) with flat side in.
c. Verify retaining ring is seated in groove.
3. Install pushrod/dust boot (11). Verify dust boot is secure in piston bore groove.
4. Install anti-bubble button (2) as shown.
5. Loosely install cover (5), baffle (4) and gasket (3).
6. Install brake lever.
a. Install brake lever (9).
b. Install pivot pin (8).
c. Install new pivot pin retaining ring (10).
