1. Allow system to cool.
2. Verify that coolant level is at proper level. See Cooling System → COOLANT.
3. Remove filler cap.
4. Remove coolant equal to the amount of dye being used.
5. Pour dye into filler neck.

NOTE
  • If equipped with electric coolant pump, DTII can be used to operate the the electric pump.
Install pressure cap. Operate coolant pump for 10 minutes. See Cooling System → COOLANT FLOW.
7. Use black light to illuminate entire cooling system.

8. Inspect coolant system. A yellow fluorescence indicates a leak.
