When a new EVPT is installed, verify the latest software is installed. Use DTII to check and update software.

When updating software, attach a lithium ion charger (minimum 5 amp) to the 12V back-up battery. The software update may disable the onboard charger. If so, the 12V backup battery may not supply enough power for the software update.
