| 1. | Assemble ABS module to bracket. a. See Figure 2. Install ABS module (1) to bracket (2) with screws (3). b. Tighten screws. Torque: 4.5–6.5 N·m (40–58 in-lbs) ABS module mounting screws | |
| 2. | Install ABS module bracket assembly. a. See Figure 1. Install ABS module and bracket assembly (6). b. Install screws (5). Tighten. Torque: 5–7 N·m (44–62 in-lbs) ABS module bracket screws | |
| 3. | Install brake lines. a. See Figure 1. Install each brake line with a banjo bolt (1) and new gasket washers (2). b. Tighten banjo bolts. Torque: 23–26 N·m (17–19 ft-lbs) ABS module banjo bolts | |
| 4. | Connect ABS connector (3). | |
| 5. | If installing a new ABS module, use DTII for set-up procedure: Special Tool: DIGITAL TECHNICIAN II (HD-48650) a. Choose REFLASH icon. b. Follow on-screen prompts. |
