Remove

1.	See Figure 1. Depress spring loaded detent (4) and remove clevis pin (3). NOTE Remove footrest (6) and detent plate (5) as an assembly to keep spring (8) and ball (4) in place. a. Remove footrest (6) with detent plate (5).
2.	NOTE Detent ball is under spring pressure, place finger over detent ball when removing detent plate to keep detent ball from falling out. Remove detent plate (6) from footrest.
3.	Remove spring and ball (4) from footrest.

Remove Bracket

1.	See Figure 1. Remove screws (9) and washers (1).
2.	Remove bracket assembly (2).
3.	If required remove the footrest. See footrest in this section.
4.	Install clevis pin (2).

Install

1.	See Figure 1. Install spring (8) and ball (7) into footrest (6).
2.	Install detent plate (5) onto footrest (6). a. Hold detent ball in place while installing detent plate to prevent detent ball from falling out. b. Detent plate should be oriented with the detent holes on the bottom. c. Make sure detent ball is aligned with the innermost hole in the detent plate when installed.
3.	Install footrest. a. Install footrest (6) into footrest bracket (2). b. Install clevis pin (3).

Install Bracket

1.	See Figure 1. Position bracket (2).
2.	Install washers (1) and screws (9). Tighten. Torque: 25–29 N·m (18–21 ft-lbs) Footrest bracket screws, passenger
