When a new Power Electronics Unit (PEU) is installed, verify the latest software is installed. Use Digital Technician II (DT II) to check and update software.

When updating software, attach a lithium ion charger (minimum 5 A) to the 12 V back-up battery. The software update will disable DC/DC functions until the update is complete. The 12 V backup battery may not supply enough power for the software update.
