Deactivate electrical system
NOTE
Follow this procedure to safely deactivate electrical system.
| 1. | Remove seat. See Chassis → SEAT. | |
| 2. | Remove top cover. See Chassis → TOP COVER. | |
| 3. | One-up Seat models: Remove left top cover. See Chassis → SEAT. | |
| 4. | Verify fob is present. | |
| 5. | Place OFF/RUN switch in RUN position. | |
| 6. | Figure 1 Disconnect TCU connector. | |
| 7. | Place OFF/RUN switch in OFF position. | |
| 8. | Wait five minutes to allow for proper systems shut down. | |
| 9. | Figure 2 Remove cover (3) and remove main fuse (1). |
Activate electrical system
| 1. | Verify OFF/RUN switch is in OFF position. | |
| 2. | Figure 1 Connect TCU connector. | |
| 3. | Figure 2 Connect main fuse (2), install cover (3). | |
| 4. | Two-up Seat models: Install top cover. See Chassis → TOP COVER. | |
| 5. | One-up Seat models: Install left top cover. See Chassis → TOP COVER. | |
| 6. | Install seat. See Chassis → SEAT. |
