| 1. | Remove rear fender. NOTE It is not necessary to cut and remove cable straps (9) in order to disconnect turn signal connectors. a. See Electrical → REAR TURN SIGNAL LAMPS → Install → Rear Turn Signal Lamp Assembly. Holding license plate bracket (3) in place, remove screws (8). b. Remove rear fender (7). c. Loosely install screws to hold license plate bracket in place. | |
| 2. | Disconnect turn signal connectors (11) from turn signal harness connectors (5, 10). | |
| 3. | Remove screws (4), turn signal mounts (2) and turn signal lamps (1, 6), feeding turn signal connectors and harnesses out through license plate bracket and turn signal mounts. | |
| 4. | Separate turn signal lamps from turn signal mounts. |
