1. See Figure 1. Reach into seat opening (1) and locate backrest support arms (5).
2. Squeeze support arms together until support arm pins (7) clear height adjustment holes (4) in support bracket (6).
3. Pull backrest straight up out of seat opening.
Install
1. See Figure 1. Squeeze backrest support arms (5) together.
2. Lower arms down into seat opening (1) and into support bracket (6).
3. When support arm pins (7) are adjacent to desired height adjustment holes (4), release arms.
4. Pull up and down on backrest to verify it is properly seated in support bracket.
Tilt (Angle) Adjustment
See Figure 1. Locate the tilt adjust screw (8) on rear of backrest and under upholstery. To set an angle that fits the rider, use a T-40 Torx wrench to loosen, adjust and tighten the screw to fix the angle of the backrest.
