NOTICE
When replacement is required, use only the specified sealed beam unit or bulb, available from a Harley-Davidson dealer. An improper wattage sealed beam or bulb, can cause charging system problems. (00209a)
NOTE
LED headlamp contains no replacement bulbs. Replace entire assembly if failure occurs.
Removal
  1. See Figure 1. Remove screw (3) at bottom of chrome trim ring (4).
  2. Rotate ring counterclockwise a few degrees. Pull ring straight forward to remove.
  3. Remove screws (2) securing retaining ring (5).
  4. Remove retaining ring and LED headlamp (6).
  5. Disconnect LED headlamp connector (1).
Installation
1. See Figure 1. Install LED headlamp connector (1).
2. Secure LED headlamp (6) with retaining ring (5) and screws (2). Tighten to 2.5–3.6 N·m (22–32 in-lbs).
3. Install the chrome trim ring (4):
a. Verify that rubber seal and retaining springs are in place on trim ring. Apply glass cleaner to seal to ease installation.
b. With the trim ring rotated a few degrees counterclockwise, push trim ring straight onto headlamp.
c. Rotate the ring clockwise until the trim ring screw hole is aligned with the treaded hole in the mounting ring. Install the screw (3). Tighten to 1–2 N·m (9–18 in-lbs).
