Fuses, Relays and Diode
See Figure 1. To protect the motorcycle's electrical components from overload, your vehicle has circuit fuses and a main fuse. The fuse block and relays (13, 14, 15) are located under the seat. The fuse block contains replaceable fuses and one diode (2).
NOTICE
The diode must be inserted with the cathode terminal facing as shown in the Fuses, Relays and Diode illustration. Reversing diode will disable starter and ignition circuits. (00243d)
WARNING
The automatic-on headlamp feature provides increased visibility of the rider to other motorists. Be sure headlamp is on at all times. Poor visibility of rider to other motorists can result in death or serious injury. (00030b)
For diagnosis and repair of electrical problems, see a Buell dealer. They have the necessary parts and equipment to perform electrical service.
