WARNING

NOTICE
Never touch the quartz bulb. Fingerprints will etch the glass and decrease bulb life. Handle the bulb with paper or a clean, dry cloth. Failure to do so could result in bulb damage. (00210b)
  1. See Figure 1. Remove rubber boot from headlamp housing behind fairing.
    2. NOTE
    The wiring for the high beam bulb passes through its rubber boot. Pull boot out over wire to provide sufficient clearance for the bulb.
  2. Rotate headlamp connector 1/4-turn counterclockwise and remove from housing.
  3. Disconnect bulb from connector.
  4. Connect new bulb to connector.
  5. Insert bulb/connector into socket in lamp housing. Position the connector toward the middle of the vehicle and rotate 1/4-turn clockwise.
  6. Install rubber boot on headlamp housing.
