See Figure 1. To protect the motorcycle's electrical components from overload, your vehicle has circuit fuses and a main or maxi-fuse. The fuse block is located to the right of the tachometer and contains five replaceable fuses and two diodes. A 30 amp main fuse is located to the left of the battery under the rider's seat.
WARNING
The automatic-on headlamp feature provides increased visibility of the rider to other motorists. Be sure headlamp is on at all times. Poor visibility of rider to other motorists can result in death or serious injury. (00030b)
Three relays are mounted to the left of the speedometer.
NOTICE
The diode must be inserted with the cathode terminal facing as shown in the Fuses, Relays and Diode illustration. Reversing diode will disable starter and ignition circuits. (00243d)
