Removal
  1. Remove passenger seat from motorcycle. See Operation → Seat: Firebolt Models.
  2. See Figure 1. Expand cowl by pressing on push-points along plastic tab (1).
  3. When plastic tab releases seat, slide seat from cowl.
Installation
  1. See Figure 1. Slide seat notches (2) into cowl alignment grooves (3).
  2. Expand cowl by pressing on push-points along plastic tab (1) and push seat into cowl.
  3. Install passenger seat onto motorcycle. See Operation → Seat: Firebolt Models.
WARNING
Do not carry a passenger with seat cowl installed. Seat cowl is a cosmetic part that is not designed to support passenger weight. Operating motorcycle with passenger seated on cowl can adversely affect passenger safety, which could result in death or serious injury. (00138a)
