Removal
Rotate Triple Tail™ to upright or rearward position. Refer to Operation → Triple Tail™.
See Figure 1. Insert ignition key into seat lock and rotate a 1/4 turn clockwise. Grip the rear of seat and pull toward the rear of the motorcycle.
Installation
See Figure 2. Position seat and slide forward to engage the front tab (3) with the slot in the frame and the four seat hooks (1) with the posts on the tail section. Check that the front tab engages the frame slot and that all four hooks engage the tail section.
WARNINGAfter installing seat, pull upward on seat to be sure it is locked in position. While riding, a loose seat can shift causing loss of control, which could result in death or serious injury. (00070b)
Press down firmly on rear of seat to engage seat latch (2). Pull up on rear of seat to make sure latch is engaged.
