See Figure 1. The vehicle's electrical system is protected with fuses. The fuse block is located under the seat on the left side of the vehicle. The fuse block includes a 30 amp main fuse which may be removed to cut off power to the entire electrical system.
See Figure 2. The relay block is located under the pillion near the battery. Four relays provide functions for the vehicle's electrical system.
The fuse block and relay block can be removed from their mount for easier access. Slide the block upward to remove from its mount. To open, press the latches on each side of the fuse or relay block and lift the cover off.
Spare fuses are provided in the tool kit included with the motorcycle.

WARNING
The automatic-on headlamp feature provides increased visibility of the rider to other motorists. Be sure headlamp is on at all times. Poor visibility of rider to other motorists can result in death or serious injury. (00030b)
NOTE
When a low battery condition exists, the ECM will shut off the auxiliary power outlet to conserve power.
