3. | Lift rear of top cover (2) straight up to disengage from mounting grommets (3). | |
4. | Feed the Universal Serial Bus (USB) cover (4) through top cover and remove top cover (2). |

2. | Install top cover (2) to mounting grommets (3) lower rear into position. Install screws (1). Tighten. Torque: 5.9–6.5 N·m (52–58 in-lbs) Cover, top, screws | |

3. | Grab sides of top cover (3) and lift top cover off of side tabs. |

2. | Guide brake lines and cable through openings on top cover. | |

4. | Verify brake lines and cable (2) are properly routed in top cover openings and not pinched. | |
5. | See Figure 2. Install screw (3). Do not tighten. | |
6. | Install screws (2). Tighten. Torque: 12.9–14.2 N·m (10–10 ft-lbs) Top cover assembly side screws | |
7. | Tighten screw (3). Torque: 5.9–6.5 N·m (52–58 in-lbs) Top cover center screw |
