1.	Remove top cover. See Chassis → TOP COVER.
2.	Remove rear cover. See Chassis → REAR COVER.
3.	Deactivate electrical system. See Electrical → POWER DISCONNECT.
4.	If replacing master cylinder: Remove right mirror. See Chassis → MIRRORS.
5.	If replacing master cylinder: Drain brake fluid from front brake system. See Chassis → BLEED BRAKES.
