Prepare
1. Remove top cover. See Chassis → TOP COVER.
2. Remove rear cover. See Chassis → REAR COVER.
3. Deactivate electrical system. See Electrical → POWER DISCONNECT.
4. Remove tail section. See Chassis → TAIL SECTION.
5. Remove rear shock absorber. See Chassis → REAR SHOCK ABSORBER.
6. Drain rear brake lines. See Chassis → BLEED BRAKES.
7. Remove ABS module cover. See Remove and Install: ABS Module Cover in this section.
Remove
1. Remove ABS module to rear brake caliper line from ABS module. See Chassis → ABS MODULE.
2. Remove ABS module to rear brake caliper line from rear brake caliper. See Chassis → REAR BRAKE CALIPER.
3. Figure 1 Remove screw (3) with p-clamp.
4. Remove line clips (2).
Install
1. Figure 1 Install line clips (2).
2. Install screw (3) with P-clamp. Tighten.
Torque: 5–7 N·m (44–62 in-lbs) Brake line, rear caliper to ABS module, p-clamp screw
3. Install ABS module to rear brake caliper line to rear brake caliper. See Chassis → REAR BRAKE CALIPER.
4. Install ABS module to rear brake caliper line to ABS module. See Chassis → ABS MODULE.

Complete
1. Install ABS module cover. See Remove and Install: ABS Module Cover in this section.
2. Install rear shock absorber. See Chassis → REAR SHOCK ABSORBER.
3. Install tail section. See Chassis → TAIL SECTION.
4. Activate electrical system. See Electrical → POWER DISCONNECT.
5. Fill and bleed brakes. See Chassis → BLEED BRAKES.
6. Install rear cover. See Chassis → REAR COVER.
7. Remove top cover. See Chassis → TOP COVER.
