1.	Remove top cover. See Chassis → TOP COVER.
2.	Remove rear cover. See Chassis → REAR COVER.
3.	Deactivate electrical system. See Electrical → POWER DISCONNECT.
4.	Raise front wheel. See Secure the Motorcycle for Service in Maintenance → GENERAL.
5.	Remove fairing. See Chassis → FAIRING.
6.	Remove fairing bracket clamps. See Chassis → FAIRING.
7.	Remove front fender. See Chassis → FRONT FENDER.
8.	Detach front brake calipers. See Chassis → FRONT BRAKE CALIPER.
9.	Remove front wheel. See Chassis → FRONT WHEEL.
